Stop and stare!!
I know I sound like a crazy person! In today's world we have demonized staring as a mad person's act. But have you ever tried walking while looking at stars? They walk with you! It's like having a million tiny companions in the night sky, each one refusing to let you feel alone.
When life feels heavy for me, I always lean on nature to show me its way to uplift my spirits. Ever noticed how an ant carries things bigger and heavier than her! Or how raindrops race down your window, each taking their own unique path.
But there's even more magic when you step outside! A tree might start looking like a friend ready to give you a hug, its branches stretched wide in welcome. A bird might seem like it's trying to cheer you up with its chirping, and that curious bunny hopping nearby? Maybe it's inviting you to play! Once, a tiny ladybug landed on my hand, like a friend stopping by to say hello. And I remember this field of yellow buttercups that seemed to whisper, "Come, lie down here awhile, let your worries float away with the clouds."
The world is full of these tiny miracles we rush past every day. A spider weaving its web between tree branches, that's determination. The way leaves dance before they fall, that's grace. The persistent push of a seedling breaking through soil, that's hope! Each moment in nature tells its own story, if we just pause to read it.
Some people might call it weird. They might tell you to "snap out of it" or "keep moving." But maybe they're the ones missing out. Because in these moments of stillness, when you truly look at what's around you, you start to understand things that no book could teach you!
And the best part? Nature's show is always on, always free, and always changing. You just have to be brave enough to be still in a world that never stops moving!
